Prince Edward Island invited 204 skilled worker and entrepreneur candidates in its latest draw held on October 21. The invites were issued through the Labour Impact, Express Entry, and Business Impact Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) streams. The next draws are anticipated to be held on November 18 and December 16 respectively.

Prince Edward Island’s Express Entry category targets the candidates who are already in the federal Express Entry Pool and provided them the opportunity of a provincial nomination.
There is no fee to create an Expression of Interest profile. If you are selected to apply for nomination by PEI, there is a non-refundable fee of $300 CAD. Payment will be prompted at the time of the Workforce Application Form submission. Applications will only be accepted with an approved transaction.
Requirements for each category under the Prince Edward Island Labour Impact Stream:
- Skilled Worker Stream
- The candidate should have a full-time employment offer from a Prince Edward Island business in an occupation classified as skill level “0”, “A” or “B” of the National Occupational Classification.
- The candidate should complete post-secondary education and have a minimum of 14 years of formal education
- The age limit is 21 to 55 years of age
- Have at least 2 years of full-time work experience in the past 5 years
- Be proficient in English or French
- Have sufficient funds to settle in the province.
- The candidate should state the intention to settle in the province.
2) Critical Worker Stream
- The candidate should have a full-time offer of employment from an employer-based in Prince Edward Island in one of the following occupations:
Food & beverage server |
Housekeeping attendant |
Customer service representative |
Truck driver |
Laborer |
- Have at least 6 months of full-time work experience with the business offering employment
- Should have a valid Canadian work permit
- Should have completed High school, and have a minimum of 12 years of formal education
- The age limit is between 21 to 55 years of age
- Have at least 2 years of full-time work experience in the past 5 years
- Be proficient in English or French
- Have sufficient funds to settle in the province.
- The candidate should state the intention to settle in the province.
