Alberta Immigration held its biggest ever Express Entry draw in the first week of September, while consecutively holding two draws in the next two weeks of the month. It issued invites to a total of 1,335 candidates this month.
There was a whopping 7.1 percent increase in the number of invites sent out this month compared to August. The numbers for September are almost three times more than the invites for July.
For AINP draws, the data for the month of September is as follows:

Requirements for the AINP:
- The candidate should state interest in immigrating permanently to the province
- Should work in an occupation that supports the province’s economic development and diversification.
- Should have an active Express Entry profile in the Express Entry pool.
- Score a minimum CRS score of 300 points on the grid
The following factors may increase the candidates chance to receive an NOI:
- Having a job offer from an Albertan employer
- Have work experience in Alberta
- Graduated from a Canadian post-secondary institution
- Has a relative (parent, sibling, child) that is living in Alberta
