AAP holds a series of draws

From June 5 to June 19, 2025, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) conducted a series of five targeted immigration draws, showcasing the province’s proactive approach to filling labour market gaps and attracting skilled talent. During the two weeks from June 5 to June 19, Alberta issued invitations to apply for provincial nomination across five different immigration streams. These streams were either aligned with Express Entry or targeted through non-Express Entry pathways, with each draw featuring distinct eligibility criteria and cut-off scores.

June 5 – Alberta Express Entry – Priority Sectors

  • Cut-off score: 70
  • Invitations issued: 18
  • Targeted sectors: Construction, Agriculture, Aviation, Healthcare

June 10 – Dedicated Health Care Pathway – Non-Express Entry

  • Cut-off score: 53
  • Invitations issued: 33

June 17 – Tourism and Hospitality Stream

  • Cut-off score: 71
  • Invitations issued: 39

June 18 – Alberta Express Entry – Law Enforcement Pathway

  • Cut-off score: 51
  • Invitations issued: Fewer than 10

June 19 – Alberta Express Entry – Accelerated Tech Pathway

  • Cut-off score: 73
  • Invitations issued: 22

As of June 19, 2025, Alberta has issued 2,535 nominations out of a total allocation of 4,875 nominations for the year. This leaves 2,340 nomination spots still available, indicating that further draws are expected in the coming months.
