British Columbia immigration issued 409 invitations in two of its latest draws via the BC PNP. In the draws held on 12th October, the first was a general draw and the second was a NOC specific draw targeting two NOC codes: 0621 for Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers and 0631 for Restaurant and Food Service Managers.
The data from both draws are given below:

In the first general draw, the province issued 365 invitations through five streams, in the NOC-specific draw, 101 invites were issued through four streams. Minimum scores for the first were in the range of 69 to 91, while the second one had a minimum score of 104.
The BC PNP draws were started in May 2017 and are aimed specifically at certain NOC codes. It features four streams with each of the streams being as follows:
- SI – Skilled Worker stream
- SI – International Graduate stream
- EEBC – Express Entry BC Skilled Worker stream
- EEBC – Express Entry BC International Graduate stream
The BC PNP Tech Pilot has been converted to the permanent immigration stream and renamed. It has a list of 29 target occupations with relaxed duration requirements.
For this stream, the job offer must be:
- For one of the 29 targeted occupations
- For at least the duration of one full year
- Valid for at least 120 days at the time of application
Reopening of the El-base category:
Intake of applications in the EI-base category had been temporarily suspended earlier. The stream is under review and British Columbia Immigration plans to announce details regarding its reopening in early 2022.
