Manitoba Immigration issued 459 Letters of Advice to Apply to skilled workers in its latest draw. In the PNP draw held on October 21, the invites were sent through three MPNP streams. Out of 459 candidates, 94 of them had valid Express Entry IDs and correct job seeker validation codes. It was the 128th draw held by the Manitoba PNP.

About the Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream:
This stream selects workers with the appropriate skill set and nominates them for Canadian PR. It is further divided into two pathways:
a) Manitoba Work Experience Pathway
b) Employer Direct Recruitment Pathway
About the Skilled Worker Overseas Stream: It is a stream aimed at international SW’s with skills in Manitoba’s In-Demand Occupations. Applicants and spouses with close family connections, language proficiency, training, and experience to find jobs quickly, all give the candidate a priority. It includes both a Canada Express Entry Pathway and a direct provincial pathway.
a) Manitoba Express Entry Pathway
b) Human Capital Pathway
About the International Education Stream: This is aimed at international graduates from Manitoba colleges and universities. Under the stream, applicants are no longer required to work for six months in their field before applying for an MPNP nomination.
a) Career Employment Pathway
b) Graduate Internship Pathway
c) Student Entrepreneur Pathway
The following are not eligible to submit an application:
- Refugee claimants, or individuals involved in a federal appeal or removal process
- Live-in Caregivers currently living in Canada
- Temporary foreign workers currently working and residing in a province other than Manitoba
- Spouses of Canadian citizens or permanent residents
- Individuals who have been refused by the MPNP within the last six months and who are not able to address the reason(s) for refusal
- Individuals who have an active immigration application with any other provincial immigration program in Canada
